Your support of the Oviedo Historical Society is a gift. You can bolster our commitment to collect, preserve, interpret and share Oviedo’s history with a gift, your membership or a donation of your time. Here are just a few things you help with:

There are more than XXX items in our collection – photos, letters, artifacts and documents that tell Oviedo’s story. We have carefully collected and preserved these treasures.

And, with the help of the R.I.C.H.E.S. program at the University of Central Florida, along with the XXX, which assists nearly XXX people per year, from researchers to people looking into their family histories.

Every year, more than XXXX students participate in our programs, including XXX.

We support teachers with hands-on programs at Seminole County schools and provide the curriculum they need to make history fun and interesting.

Our local history services team travels local historical societies and organizations across the state. And our traveling school exhibits expects to reach more than XXX people per year – we take history to them.
